# Getting started

This walk-through takes about ten minutes.

## Before you begin

AI Pics is in early access. Sign in with Geenius OS if you have a paid plan, or [request access](/request-access/) and choose a plan once the team approves it. Making pictures needs Premium or Max. See [plans and limits](/docs/plans-and-limits/).

## 1. Read what makes the pictures

The composer names the model. Today the Preview is simulated. See [providers](/docs/providers/).

## 2. Describe

Write a sentence, choose a shape and a count. See [the composer](/docs/the-composer/).

## 3. Generate

Press Generate. Pictures appear one by one in the history. See [history](/docs/history/).

## 4. Keep

Favourite what you like and put it in a collection. See [collections](/docs/collections/).

## 5. Save

Save to Geenius OS Media, with the prompt, model, seed and settings. See [Media](/docs/media/).
