# Glossary

**Collection.** A named set of pictures.

**Preview.** The simulated maker that runs in your browser.

**Prompt.** The words that describe a picture.

**Provenance.** The words, model, seed and settings that made a picture.

**Provider.** What makes the pictures: the Preview or a model.

**Run.** One press of Generate: one to four pictures.

**Seed.** A number that repeats a result.

**Shape.** The aspect ratio of a picture.

**Strength.** How far a start picture is changed.

**Variation.** A new picture with the same settings and a new seed.
