Glossary
The words used by AI Pics in plain language: run, prompt, shape, seed, strength, variation, provider, Preview, collection and provenance.
Collection. A named set of pictures.
Preview. The simulated maker that runs in your browser.
Prompt. The words that describe a picture.
Provenance. The words, model, seed and settings that made a picture.
Provider. What makes the pictures: the Preview or a model.
Run. One press of Generate: one to four pictures.
Seed. A number that repeats a result.
Shape. The aspect ratio of a picture.
Strength. How far a start picture is changed.
Variation. A new picture with the same settings and a new seed.
